The Sacred Heart Diet (also known as Sacred Heart Medical Diet) is a diet that recommending a stern diet for duration of 7 days with a result of several pounds of weight loss and some detoxification advantage to the human body. It is similar to the Cabbage Soup diet whereby Cabbage Soup diet used plenty of cabbage but not the Sacred Heart Diet.
This diet is relies on vegetables, fruits and lean protein. It is a high fiber, nutrients and mineral diet. Sacred Heart Diet also has some similarity to low carbohydrate diets where it is mainly to avoid refined sugars, flour of any type, fried foods and added fat. Even though there is no scientific proof that the Sacred Heart Diet can have weight loss, it is a good way to have a stomach filling and get more than 5 types of vegetables in a day. However, some people might have stomach cramps provided the body system is not yet used to this method of eating.
